Rzeszow, Poland, November 28, 2018 – Hosts Asseco Resovia Rzeszow soundly defeated reigning Asian champions Khatam Ardakan 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-11) to complete the semifinals lineup of the 2018 FIVB Men’s Club World Championship.
Thibault Rossard led the Polish side with 19 points, as Damian Schulz and David Smith also scored in double digits.
Resovia join in qualifying to the semifinals four-time world champions Diatecx Trentino of Italy, who had beaten South American champions Sada Cruzeiro Contagem earlier in the evening.
Italy’s Cucine Lube Civitanova and Fakel Novy Urengoy had already qualified to the top four after Tuesday’s action in the city of Plock.
