EPL: Mason Mount issues strong warning to Chelsea players ahead of clash with ‘tough’ Man United

Chelsea midfielder, Mason Mount has issued stern warning to his teammates ahead of their home game against Manchester United Sunday afternoon.

He said the players must be ready for a ‘tough’ Premier League game against United.

The Blues go into Sunday game at the top of the league table after picking up 29 points from their opening 12 games.

It is a different story for Man United, who have only won one of their last seven league matches.

The Red Devils are currently ninth in the league table and already 12 points behind the Blues.

“‘We have recently gone through that period where we have changed managers and it can go one way where players improve as they want to impress the new manager,” Mount told Sky Sports when asked about the sack of Solskjaer and the imminent appointment of Ralf Rangnick.

“And if that happens we have to be ready for that, and we will be but I think it’s a tough one to read and go into, you see the [2-0] win over Villarreal [on Tuesday], they played very well.

“We have to ready for everything and be prepared for a very tough game, it’s Manchester United, the players they’ve got, individually they can produce on the day.”
