EPL: Jamie Vardy equals Arsenal legend, Ian Wright’s goals record

Leicester City striker, Jamie Vardy, on Sunday equaled Arsenal legend Ian Wright’s goal record for the most goals scored over the age of 30 in the Premier League.

The England international achieved the feat after scoring two goals for Leicester City on Sunday in their 4-2 win over Watford.

Vardy netted a brace as Leicester beat Watford at the King Power.

The 34-year-old now has seven league goals so far this season.

He has now scored 127 Premier League goals, 93 of which have come since his 30th birthday.

Wright was clear in this regard before Leicester City’s clash with Watford, but Vardy has matched his record.

However, It is now just a matter of time before Vardy claims it for his own.

Vardy’s 127 league goals put him tied 14th in the Premier League history alongside Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, going ahead of Robbie Keane and Nicolas Anelka.
