Manchester United caretaker manager, Michael Carrick, has lauded Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku ahead of his side’s Premier League tie against the Blues on Sunday.
Carrick described Lukaku as a terrific footballer, scoring goals in all the clubs he has played for in his career so far.
The former midfielder stated this on Friday during his pre-match press conference.
According to him, Man United are aware of what Lukaku can bring when they face Thomas Tuchel’s side at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
Carrick said, “It feels like a long time ago! Lukaku went to Italy and did very well, then went to Chelsea. It will be good to see Rom again.
“He is a terrific footballer, scoring goals wherever he has been. If Rom plays, we are well aware of what he brings.”
The kick-off time for Chelsea vs Man United is 5.30 pm.
