Jurgen Klopp’s side are ahead of third-place Manchester City, who have 14 points.
Recall that Liverpool played a 2-2 draw against Pep Guardiola’s side at Anfield.
Goals from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne ensured both teams shared a point each.
Meanwhile, sitting in the fourth position is Man United, followed by Everton in the fifth position.
