EPL: Bruno Fernandes blasts teammates for ‘mistakes’ during 1-1 draw with Everton

Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, has hit out at his teammates for “mistakes” they made during their 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday.

Anthony Martial gave United the lead in the first half of the game at Old Trafford.

However, the visitors drew level after the break, with Andros Townsend finishing off a fine counterattack.

United struggled to create clear-cut opportunities in the second half and Fernandes has explained the reason behind that.

He told MUTV: “I think it’s really difficult for us, I think we played really well first half, created a lot of chances.

“In the second half we slowed it down again, once again we made that mistake.

“We have to learn, the time is now because we cannot do this anymore.

“We did it so many times, we cannot slow down the game when we are winning. We have to make it quicker, score once again, one or two goals, then after slow it down and make them run a little bit more.”
