This Marvel Comics character was created in the 1970s. It was the first Asian character from Marvel. The character of Shang-Chi is played by Simu Liu who you’ll recognize if you are a fan of the TV show Kim’s Convenience. The filming of this movie had to be put on hold due to the pandemic. The filming resumed in July 2020 and completed in October 2020. One fun trivia is that Simu Liu tweeted asking Marvel for the role in 2018. He later quote tweeted his original tweet, this time thanking them for the role. This movie is the 25th of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This movie picks up where Avengers: Endgame (2019) left. Following the unfortunate events that happen in that movie, the race of immortal beings living on Earth for thousands of years in secrecy reunites to save Earth. The cast of this movie includes Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek and Kumail Nanjiani. It is not quite known yet if this movie will be based primarily on the original Jack Kirby comics or the Neil Gaiman comics from the 90s or to what degree the comics will be adapted.

This movie is a continuation of Spider-Man Far From Home. Tom Holland stars as Peter Parker in this film. The character of MJ is played by Zendaya just like the last one. One interesting trivia about this movie is that Tom Holland helped to save this movie from cancellation. He did it by pressing renegotiations with Sony and Disney.

This is a sequel to ‘Doctor Strange’, the 2016 Marvel film. Benedict Cumberbatch plays Dr. Stephen Strange in this movie. Quoting the storyline directly from IMDB, “After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Dr. Stephen Strange continues his research on the Time Stone. But an old friend turned enemy seeks to destroy every sorcerer on Earth, messing with Strange’s plan and also causing him to unleash an unspeakable evil”. This will be the director Sam Raimi’s first directed film in 9 years, since Oz the Great and Powerful (2013).

This is the fourth movie in the Thor saga and the sequel to Thor: Ragnarok. Interestingly, Thor is the only MCU character that has four stand-alone movies. Chris Hemsworth plays Thor as always. The star-studded cast of this movie features five Oscar winners: Russell Crowe, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Matt Damon and Taika Waititi. It is the 29th movie of the MCU.
