Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has confirmed key players who will miss his side’s Premier League clash against Fulham on Tuesday evening.
Solskjaer said Harry Maguire and Phil Jones would take no part in the Fulham clash at Old Trafford because both players are yet to recover fully from their injuries.
The Norwegian also confirmed that Daniel James and Anthony Martial are pushing for inclusion in the matchday squad against Fulham.
Man United head to the game following a 4-2 defeat to Liverpool in their previous Premier League fixture last Thursday.
“We had a couple of days off after the Liverpool match, and we’ve welcomed Dan James back and Anthony Martial back, so that’s big, big plusses for us,” Solskjaer told MUTV on Monday.
“We didn’t lose any against Liverpool, so we are fit. We are only missing Harry [Maguire] and Phil [Jones].
“It’s still too early,” Solskjaer added, concerning Maguire’s situation. “We are not at the testing stage yet. We will give him as much time as possible to recover.”
The kick-off time for Man United vs Fulham is 6 pm.
