FCE Okene Part-time Admission Requirements

1. Grade II Teachers Certificate, 3 of which must be at Credit level in the relevant subject areas
2. 5 passes at the Ordinary Level GCE/SSCE/NECO including English Language, 3 of which must be at credit level in one sitting or 4 credit at 2 sittings
3. For Primary Education Studies combination: Teachers Grade II Certificate with passes in all subjects and a minimum of 5 years teaching experience
4. For Business Education, candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:
   (a) 5 passes at the Ordinary level GCE/WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language with at least 3 credits at a sitting or 4 credit at 2 sitting in the following subjects: Economics, Principles of “Accounts, shorthand, Business Education, Introduction to business Management, Typewriting, commerce or any other relevant subject. A pass in mathematics is a compulsory requirement;
   (b) Grade II Teachers’ Certificate with credit or merit passes with at least a pass in mathematics and credit in English Language or
   (c) WAEC Commercial or RSA Stage II Certificate with passes at not more than 2 sittings in five subjects including English Language and 3 relevant subjects chosen from (a) above.

Registration Instructions

1. We advise you to have a valid email account before you start the application process.
2. Click on the application category below to fill the appropriate form.
3. Click on ‘Register for application’ at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.
4. Provide all the necessary information. Note that * means compulsory fields.
5. On the field ‘Please solve the captcha….’ type the two words shown. Please type those words separated by a space before you click on ‘Get login credentials’.
6. An e-mail will be sent immediately to the provided email address (ensure the email provided is your personal address).
7. Open your mail to get your system generated id and password that you will use to login.
8. On https://fceokene-kofa.waeup.org click on ‘Login’ (top right of the front page).
9. Enter your user name and the password from the earlier email you received to login.
10. To start the application process, please click on the ‘Edit application record’ and provide all the required information and upload your passport photograph.
11. You can view your entries before downloading the application slip.
12. To make a payment login and click ‘Edit application record’.
13. At the bottom of the page click on ‘Add online payment ticket’.
14. On the top left corner of the page displayed, click on ‘College Pay’ to start payment by ATM or Cash Card.

Closing Date

Note that the closing date for all applications is on February 28, 2021 for Postgraduate Diploma programmes and May 30, 2021 for Sandwich programmes.
